Brocade ICX 6430 и Brocade ICX 6450. Данные линейки коммутаторов предназначены для использования в корпоративных сетях с высокими требованиями к отказоустойчивости и производительности. Обе линейки коммутаторов имеют 24- и 48-портовые модели с портами 10/100/1000 Ethernet, но отличаются количеством и типом "универсальных" портов, которые могут быть использованы в качестве аплинков или стековых портов. Brocade ICX 6430 имеет 4 порта 1GbE с возможностью организации стека производительностью до 4 Гб, а Brocade ICX 6450 имеет 4 порта 10GbE с возможностью организации стека производительностью до 40 Гб соответственно.
Также Обе линейки коммутаторов имеют модели с поддержкой питания на портах стандартов PoE/PoE+, что позволяет обеспечить питание по 3-му или 4-му классу (30 Вт) при использовании внешнего источника питания - ICX 6400-EPS1500. Максимальное количество портов с поддержкой PoE+ для линейки Brocade ICX 6430 - 24, для линейки Brocade ICX 6430 - 48. Программное обеспечение коммутаторов серии Brocade ICX 6430 поддерживает функционал 2-го уровня и не имеет функционала маршрутизации.
Программное обеспечение коммутаторов серии Brocade ICX 6450 в базовой версии ПО кроме функционала 2-го уровня имеет поддержку базового функционала 3-го уровня (статической маршрутизации). Для использования динамических протоколов маршрутизации (RIP, OSPF), функционал маршрутизации можно расширить, за счет програмной лицензии (ICX6450-PREM-LIC)
